Bus Safety

Ensure that your child knows the rules of the road when it comes to bus safety. Teach children about looking both ways for traffic before stepping out onto the road and to be aware that other vehicles cannot see them when they are behind or in front of the bus. If your child is young, walk to the bus stop and wait for the bus together. Your child should know to remain seated while on the bus and report to the bus driver any problems encountered while riding the bus.
