Taking Care of Your Feet
Common Foot Problems - Part 1

Athlete's Foot a superficial fungal infection of the toenails and skin, usually found on the bottom of the feet. It can be acquired when walking barefoot in public showers and change rooms

Blisters fluid filled lesions caused by friction and pressure from poorly fitted shoes

Bunions a bony lump at the base of the big toe aggravated by wearing shoes that pinch the toes

Calluses and Corns a build up of skin that forms at pressure points on the feet due to repeated friction

Dry Cracked Heels living in a dry climate, obesity, inactive sweat glands, consistently walking barefoot, wearing sandals, or open-backed shoes may lead to dry cracked heels. These factors make dry heels a common summertime occurrence
