Items Not Properly Stored or Sealed

It is important to safely dispose of items that have not been properly sealed or stored. They may have become contaminated or ineffective. Check to make sure that all lids are screwed on tightly and all medicine is stored according to the recommendations on the label. If you notice a change in colour or smell of a drug, or a clear medicine becomes cloudy or contains particles, take it to your pharmacist to be properly discarded.
