Role Overview:

You are in sales and/or recruitment. All the better if you are a regulated health professional. You know how to talk to people. You are a confident negotiator. You know how to leverage the tools you have or ask for the tools you need in order to succeed. You can lead yourself and a team.

As Director of Assessor Management, you'll be front and centre achieving our goal to find, develop and maintain the best talent in the medical and scientific fields so we can provide the highest quality medical assessments and reports to our clients. You will not simply find names then call or email - you will truly recruit - spend time with your assessors, find out what they want, how you can make their lives better, their working lives easier.

You will work across departments to make sure your assessors are taken care of, nurture them to ensure they succeed. You will work with our business analyst to develop reporting your assessors need. You will work with our Quality Assurance department to ensure they are creating the best possible product. You will work with our Intake department to ensure they are being booked, that the volume you convinced them to give us is used, that we are using them to their full potential.

As this isn't a typical job, we are open to figuring out the compensation model that will best motivate you. Salary and bonus structure are negotiable. But your bonus will not be dependent solely on getting recruits to sign on the dotted line, it will also need to consider usage, quality, and retention. If we think of the assessor here as your customer and us as your product, we need you to build long-term relationships - develop customers for life. We are not looking for single use, we are looking for long-term partners who can help us continue to grow, share in our success and yours.

Seiden Health is one of the oldest and largest independent medical assessment providers in Canada. We are large enough to provide the kind of volume assessors want, but small and nimble enough that we can change how we work to suit their needs and yours. We are practical first, not institutional. As we are privately owned and have no debt, we can do things our competitors can't. We can make investments in our people and in our product without looking to a board of directors or private equity principals for permission. Use this flexibility to find the best way to recruit, manage and retain. Yes, we can provide them and you the usual perks - hockey tickets, fancy meals, and the like - but what we are looking for here is someone who can figure out a better way and be handsomely rewarded for it.

While we can provide as much training as you need to acquaint yourself with our business and industry, what we are looking for is someone who can take the opportunity to develop their own recruitment strategies. You will not be micro-managed. You will work with the senior management team, and report directly to the CEO and CFO. The only person who can get in your way is you. Determine your needs - systems, hardware, people, etc. Lead the administrative assessor management staff, so they can best help you achieve your goals. Leverage our resources so we can all succeed.

Success will be rewarded with money, sure, but there are other avenues you can take to keep your personal development moving forward. Work with our occupational/workplace health division to better manage our clients and find new ones. Work with our COO and client services to figure out how to sell your recruits to our clients. Help us spin off businesses using your recruits and become a partner in the process.
