Medical Journalist/Writer
Role/Duties Overview
- Work with clinical, administration teams and general counsel to understand the nature of work they will be covering
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches and research to enhance their background understanding
- Must be able to identify relationship between ideas, organize them in logical sequence, evaluate and analyze information they are writing about
- Good general knowledge and capability to pick up new concepts, thoughts quickly
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively - possess a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines
- Solid work ethic, professionalism, organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to conduct research and translate large quantity of technical information into succinct, accurate, engaging writing
- Persistent and detail-oriented
Qualifications/Requirements
- Masters or PhD degree in journalism or English
- Advanced writing and editorial skills
- Experience in medical writing field, past contributions to science publications, newspapers, magazine
